About the event

This program is designed to help autistic young adults develop the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to build safe, respectful, and meaningful relationships. Many individuals want connection but may struggle with communication, boundaries, and navigating the expectations of dating. This class provides clear, structured guidance in a supportive and judgment-free environment.

Participants will learn how to express themselves appropriately, understand social and communication differences, recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, and practice essential skills such as consent, personal boundaries, and emotional regulation. The program also addresses the unique dynamics of autistic individuals dating one another, including how to navigate shared challenges like communication styles, routines, and sensory needs.

Through step-by-step instruction, guided practice, and real-life scenarios, students will gain practical tools they can apply in everyday situations. The goal is to increase independence, improve decision-making, and build confidence in forming positive and safe relationships.

This class supports not just dating skills—but…
