terms & conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Progress Partners website, booking a service, enrolling in a program, or submitting a form (including the Community Mapper), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or its services.
2. Who we are
Progress Partners provides coaching, group classes, workshops, and related support services for young adults facing disabilities or life challenges, and the families supporting them. Progress Partners is operated by [legal business name, once incorporation is finalized] / John Keating.
3. Eligibility
[CONFIRM WITH JOHN: Is there a minimum age for clients booking coaching or class services directly? Site content describes “young adults,” and For Schools & Agencies work may involve reaching minors through school partnerships — worth a clear statement here about who can independently book/enroll versus what requires a parent or guardian’s consent, before this goes live.]
4. Services offered
Progress Partners offers, among other things: one-on-one coaching, Core Support and Full Support monthly coaching plans, the Stability Support Program, Group Class Tracks, the Jumpstart Accelerator, workshops and webinars, the Community Connector, the “Finding Your Child’s Life Path After High School” parent training program, and free offerings including the Vocational & Life Direction Assessment and the Community Mapper. Descriptions, pricing, and availability are as listed on the site and may change over time.
5. Not a substitute for medical or clinical treatment
Progress Partners’ coaching services are not medical, psychiatric, or clinical mental health treatment, and are not a substitute for such care. [If John ever provides clinical counseling services under his LPCC license as a distinct offering from coaching, that should be called out separately and clearly, since it changes what disclaimers and protections apply.] If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact 911 or a crisis line, not Progress Partners.
6. Payment, billing, and pricing
Fees for paid services are due as described at the time of booking or purchase. Monthly plans (Core Support, Full Support, Stability Support) renew automatically until cancelled, except that Stability Support runs for a fixed 12-month term as described below. Prices are subject to change; changes will not affect a program or billing cycle already in progress.
7. Cancellation and refund policy
Pay-per-session coaching (One-on-One Coaching, $60/session) Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least [24 / 48 hours — CONFIRM WITH JOHN] notice at no charge. Cancellations with less notice, or missed sessions, [are charged in full / are charged a partial fee — CONFIRM WITH JOHN].
Monthly plans (Core Support Plan, Full Support Plan) Clients may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds for time already paid within a cycle. [Any minimum commitment period before cancellation is allowed? — CONFIRM WITH JOHN, currently plans are built as open-ended/cancel-anytime.]
Stability Support Program ($125/month, 12-month commitment) This plan is billed monthly across a fixed 12-month term. [What happens if a client wants to leave before the 12 months are up — non-refundable commitment, prorated exit fee, or case-by-case hardship exception? This needs a clear answer before publishing, since it’s the one plan with a locked term. — CONFIRM WITH JOHN]
Group Class Tracks ($199, six-week series) and Jumpstart Accelerator ($399, eight-week program) Full refund if cancelled at least [X days — CONFIRM WITH JOHN] before the program’s start date. [Partial refund / no refund — CONFIRM WITH JOHN] once the program has begun, given spots are limited and materials/instructor time are committed.
Community Connector ($180) and Finding Your Child’s Life Path After High School ($1,200) [One-time paid services — refund window before the scheduled session/program date? CONFIRM WITH JOHN.]
Free offerings (Vocational Assessment, weekly groups, Community Mapper) No payment involved — not applicable.
How to request a cancellation or refund Email keatingcoaching@gmail.com or call 631-807-5328 with your name and the service booked. Refunds, where applicable, are issued to the original payment method within [X business days — CONFIRM WITH JOHN].

8. Client Showcase and testimonials
With explicit permission, Progress Partners may feature client names, photos, and stories on the site’s Client Showcase page. No client’s name, photo, or story is published without that individual’s (or their guardian’s, if a minor) confirmed consent.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Progress Partners site — text, graphics, logos, and downloadable resources such as the Vocational Assessment and Community Mapper — belongs to Progress Partners unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Limitation of liability
[Standard limitation-of-liability language — needs a lawyer’s exact wording rather than a template, since enforceability varies by state/province across the U.S. and Canada.]
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy, published on this site, describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Governing law
[CONFIRM: which state’s law governs — presumably New York given the business’s location, but worth confirming, especially with clients in Canada and other U.S. states.]
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
