NEW CLASS JAN28,2026

Accelerator Program
(8-Week Intensive)

A structured reset that turns “stuck” into momentum.
For young adults with or without a disability who need clarity, accountability, and a real next-step plan.

Who this is for

The Accelerator Program is designed for young adults who:

  • Are out of school (or nearing graduation) and unsure what comes next

  • Have motivation challenges, inconsistent routines, or low follow-through

  • Want independence but need structure to build real-life skills

  • Need help creating a direction for work, community engagement, and adult life

  • Are capable of progress, but need the right system and coaching support

If your young adult needs a clear path, weekly structure, and accountability, Accelerator was built for that.

What makes Accelerator different

Most support services move slowly or feel too general. Accelerator is intensive by design.

This program combines:

  • Two structured classes per week (Monday & Thursday)

  • Open access to five weekly Progress Partners classes

  • One-on-one coaching sessions included

  • Family involvement and homework to increase accuracy and follow-through

  • A clear framework that helps a young adult build a real plan—and then execute it

Program Structure (8 Weeks)

Weekly Components

  • 2 Accelerator Classes / week (Monday & Thursday)

  • Open access to 5 weekly Progress Partners classes (skill-building and practice)

  • 1-on-1 coaching sessions included (personalized accountability and next steps)

  • Weekly homework (client + family components)

Focus Areas

Depending on the person, Accelerator targets:

  • Daily and weekly routines (sleep, schedule, time management)

  • Motivation, follow-through, and personal accountability

  • Communication, independence, and real-life problem solving

  • Social development and community engagement

  • Work readiness and realistic next-step planning

  • Confidence-building through action and measurable progress

Outcomes: what families typically gain

By the end of 8 weeks, most participants leave with:

  • A more consistent weekly routine and stronger follow-through

  • A clear “next-step plan” for work, volunteering, classes, or community involvement

  • Improved confidence and more independent decision-making

  • Better communication and reduced parent-child power struggles

  • Increased motivation because goals become concrete and achievable

  • A plan that can transition into ongoing Progress Partners support (if desired)

Screening & Acceptance (important)

Accelerator is not a drop-in class. Space is limited and one cohort runs at a time.

We begin with a brief screening process to ensure:

  • The program is a good fit for the young adult’s current needs

  • Expectations are clear for participation and follow-through

  • The family understands the structure and the support model

Support model (important note)

Progress Partners does not provide staffing for direct supervision.
What we do is connect young adults to community-based activities and structured routines that build skills, independence, and confidence. If additional support is needed, we can help families identify and coordinate it.
