About the event

Understanding social rules is challenging for neurodiverse individuals due to unspoken norms and subtle body language. Building social confidence requires patience, practice, and effective strategies.

Our classes for neurodiverse young adults, including those on the autism spectrum, and their neurotypical peers, provide an inclusive environment. Participants learn about social interaction, non-verbal cues, and conversational skills through interactive exercises and role-playing.

We focus on small steps to boost social confidence, offering practical techniques like initiating conversations, maintaining eye contact, and recognizing social cues.

Classes also foster community among participants. Sharing experiences can reduce isolation, with instructors facilitating discussions to help participants connect and form friendships.

Ultimately, these classes empower young adults to navigate social situations with confidence, transforming interactions into opportunities for connection and joy.
