In this webinar, Finding the Right Fit: How to Spot Disability-Friendly Jobs and Employers, participants will learn how to evaluate whether a job or employer is a good match for someone with a disability, learning difference, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, or other support needs. The goal of this session is to help individuals and families look beyond the job title and understand whether the workplace has the structure, communication style, flexibility, and support needed for long-term success.

Participants will learn how to identify green flags in job postings, such as clear expectations, flexible scheduling, supportive language, training opportunities, inclusive hiring practices, and openness to accommodations. We will also discuss red flags that may suggest a workplace could be overwhelming or unsupportive, such as vague job descriptions, poor communication, unrealistic expectations, high-pressure environments, or a lack of understanding around disability-related needs.
